We are pleased to announce that the community realism tournament draft has been completed! Thank you to all the team captains who showed up to conduct this draft and decide on outstanding rules and maps. Details below: Each team will have three matches, so that each team can play each other once. At the end of the three matches, the two teams with the best record will face off against each other for the championship while the next two will play for third and fourth. In the event a tiebreaker is needed, the two teams will face off against each other to determine who moves on. First matches will be the weekend of June 22nd. We will be skipping July 4th weekend as well. We would like to have this tournament completed by mid-August. Your team captains will be communicating with you on date/time and server location. I will be posting frequent updates to remind everyone. Maps will be picked using ban-ban-pick. For transparency, the map pool is listed below as well as the schedule for each week. Other rules such as weapons, map rules, etc. will be agreed upon by the team captains before the match. We are pleased to announce the first annual Community Realism Tournament! This tournament is open to all realism players, both unit members and pubbers alike. Details are listed below: Details/Rules: One team will be led by a pubber, the rest by unit members. Each team that is led by a unit member can only select three members from their unit, all other picks must be pubbers or from other units. Draft order is a snake draft (1, 2, 3, 4, second round 4, 3, 2, 1, etc.). Seeding will be determined randomly. Draft day will be chosen for a Saturday in late May that works for all Captains. All matches will be held on a Saturday at 2 or 3 PM EST (Captain's discretion) starting in early June. Map choices will be discussed from a pool provided each week. Match rules will be determined by Captains. Suggested rules are: pistol mod, medic mod, rifle nade priming allowed, full barricades, no skyboxing, 5 minute set up, 12 minute defense. Matches will be in round robin format, goal is for matches to last no more than 3 weeks. 8th ID members only: If you are interested in signing up, please respond in the following format.
